Meg Bee is from a small town in Southern Utah, where she has always been a true fish out of water. Whether she’s rocking blue tights with combat boots, or fishnets under ripped jeans, Megan does the electric boogaloo to the beat of her own drum. She is a writer, voracious reader, lover of red lipstick and all things vintage. The recipient of several awards, including the Lorenzo Snow award and a Utah Press Association award for her work as a journalist, Megan’s two collections of poetry, Mermaid in the Valley, and Junkyard Princess, explore the themes of grief, love and discovering what happens when you stop being nice, and start getting real.
